Speaker: Clay Cockrill, Manhattan Construction
Topic:  Construction Market Outlook for 2021

Clay Cockrill is a lifelong resident of Oklahoma City. He attended Heritage Hall high school and the University of Oklahoma. He began his construction career at the age of 15 working during the summers as a land surveyor, and has been in the construction business ever since. Early in his career, Clay enjoyed the privilege of working on the first two MAPS projects, the Bricktown Ballpark and the Bricktown Canal. After nearly three decades, Clay has been involved in projects for universities, municipalities, primary education, athletic facilities, healthcare institutions, and airports, to name a few. Clay joined Manhattan Construction six years ago, and is currently the director of business development for the central Oklahoma market.

 Clay serves on the board of directors of Allied Arts where he co-chairs the committee for the Architecture, Engineering and Construction industry. He’s a member of the board for Cleats for Kids, a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering at-risk youth through sports. Clay currently serves as president of the board of directors for Rebuilding Together OKC, providing free home repairs to low income senior home-owners in Oklahoma County. Clay also sits on the advisory board for Commerce Bank.  Clay is on the leadership board at Church of the Servant, is a member of the OKC Rotary Club #29, and was a member of Leadership OKC class 31 and is a current member of class 34 with Leadership Oklahoma.

Clay lives in Edmond with wife Julie and sons, Will and Charlie. When not enjoying his boys’ sporting events, Clay enjoys travel, fishing, hiking and creating ceramic artwork.
