Property Managers Tour of Oklahoma Medical Examiner's Office

The Oklahoma Medical Examiner's Office had lost their accreditation due to a long list of problems such as rusty equipment, poor air quality, leaky roof, etc.  The solution was to remodel the former Oklahoma City-Country Health Department building instead of doing new construction which saved the state millions of dollars.  The new 47,00 sq. ft. ME's Office facility opened last year with state of the art features such as a complex biosafe air handling system, larger toxicology lab and more freezer storage.

BOMA OKC Regular Members are invited to tour the new Oklahoma Medical Examiner's Office.  The tour will be conducted by Dr. Eric Pfeifer, Chief Medical Examiner for the State of Oklahoma.  Following the tour, we will gather for drinks, snacks and networking.

Visitor parking is available at the building by entering from N. Kelley Avenue north of NE 23rd Street. The main entrance is located at the center of the building on the south side. There is no access from Laird Avenue. We will gather in the lobby area before beginning the tour.
