Over the past thirty-five years Lissa Qualls has devoted her time and talents to serving leaders through one on one and group coaching as well as curriculum and leadership development. Lissa brings to the table her unique strengths as well as her experience of training leaders locally, nationally and internationally.

For over twenty years, Lissa served a missionary with Youth For Christ. She began her work as a local Teen MoMs Director of a YFC Chapter. After a few years she became the Executive Director of the chapter and was instrumental in leading the program to significant growth.

Lissa went on the serve at the national level, developing and growing the Teen Parents division of YFC USA. She assisted in the writing of training materials and served as the first Part-Time Teen Parents Director for YFC USA before taking on these duties full-time. She was responsible for training staff across the US as well as providing the written materials for their training.

Lissa left YFC USA to serve with YFC International as the Americas Area Training Director. Primarily working with Central and South America as well as eight Caribbean Islands, Lissa trained staff throughout the region. She also worked with each of the eight national boards to provide customized training and development materials. Lissa was then asked to take over the role of the Caribbean Regional Director where she continued to assist with national growth as well as Directing National programs.

Lissa worked with the other area Directors to develop Global curriculum, trainings, and Global events. The most recent was in South Africa with over 800 staff from more than 100 countries in attendance. Lissa led numerous annual mission trips where she was in charge of teams of volunteers who built youth centers in various in Central and South America countries plus islands in the Caribbean. She also assisted with schools in Rwanda, and a clinic in Haiti.

In 2006 Lissa traveled to Thailand for classroom training to become a certified Life Coach. She received her certification through an organization called CoachNet Global. Lissa has coached people and trained coaches from several nations around the world. She is a member of the International Coaching Federation.

In 2015 Lissa became a certified Strengths Coach through Strengths Strategy, Inc. Lissa’s favorite saying is “The more we understand how we view the world and how we are wired, the more effective and successful we will be.”
