Responsibilities

As an Apprentice Engineer with Hines, you will assist in the operation and maintenance of various building systems and equipment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Respond to tenant requests
  • Operate mechanical equipment

  • Perform preventative maintenance and handle general repair

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements include:

  • High school diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
  • One or more years related experience preferred

  • Strong customer service orientation and the ability to professionally respond to tenant requests

As an Operations Engineer with Hines, you will operate and maintain all building equipment and systems. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Perform preventative maintenance work on mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC related equipment
  • Troubleshoot operations failures and re-establish building services under minimal supervision
  • Supervise maintenance work as needed

Qualifications

  • Two or more years experience in commercial HVAC or related field

Maintenance Specialist

Qualifications

• General understanding of electrical, plumbing, and mechanical concepts
• Strong knowledge of tools and their applications
• Good communication skills
• Operate equipment such as drill press, belt sanders etc.
• Good understanding of project management and budgeting

Duties

• Keep all tools organized and inspected at all times
• Keep all tools in working order. Replace when damaged or missing
• Maintain all machine shop equipment (including preventative maintenance and cleanliness)
• Work closely with contractors to ensure quality of work
• Ensure contractors are in compliance with company policies and procedures
• Maintain safe and clean working area at all times
• Operate forklift, boomlift, and manlift to accomplish tasks when necessary
• Operate power tools and machine shop equipment when necessary
• Assist with 3D printing as needed
• Maintain and clean 3D printer as needed
• Maintain and clean laser cutter as needed
